A compass graphic, saying 35mi. south of Boston and 40mi. North of Providence

Thanks to funding received from the Economic Development Administration, the Plymouth Foundation has undertaken a significant study to reposition Plymouth’s economy for the future. The study’s findings have resulted in The Plymouth Foundation’s decision to focus on three areas of opportunity: cultivating marine technology, aquaculture, and food: the Marine Tech and Trade economy. Plymouth’s harbor and coastline are perfectly suited for robotics and technologies for unmanned vehicles. The ocean provides a wealth of opportunity for aquaculture technologies–particularly those related to food production.

Plymouth is just 35 miles south of Boston, and 40 miles north of Providence, nestled in the middle of an area that is now considered the world’s leader in life sciences.

This achievement was made possible thanks to venture capital investments made over the course of the last 20 years. As an investor, you will now find significant opportunities to launch and grow Marine Tech and Trade start-ups in Plymouth.

We invite you to explore these opportunities with us.
